The Denouement
December 21, 2001 Some U.S. University Students Supporting Terrorism Affiliates
Muslim student organizations on college campuses around the country have openly raised money for groups whose assets have been frozen by the U.S. government because of alleged ties to terrorists. While no direct connection between the campus groups and terrorism has been identified by authorities, some security experts are calling for closer scrutiny of the organizations.
September 14, 2001 Recapturing Islam from the Terrorists By Abdal Hakim Murad
Two years ago, Shaykh Hisham Kabbani of the Islamic Supreme Council of America, warned of the dangers of mass terrorism to American cities; and he was brushed aside as a dangerous alarmist. Muslim organisations are no doubt beginning to regret their treatment of him. The movement for traditional Islam will, we hope, become enormously strengthened in the aftermath of the recent events, accompanied by a mass exodus from Wahhabism, leaving behind only a merciless hardcore of well-financed zealots. |

The Muslim Magazine, January 1999 Terrorist Threat in America: Extremist Wave Threatens to Engulf Muslim Americans "While every religion rejects acts of tyranny, injustice and oppression, extremism is found in every religion. As Muslims we are supporters of love, peace, justice, respect and tolerance. Thus, we see it as our duty to continue to shed light on current events while doing our best to see that the wave of militant radicalism sweeping Muslim nations does not strike in America, where we live." |
March 2, 1999 - ISCA Media Alert National Muslim organizations incite modern day lynch mob (Washington, DC) In an attempt to censor the viewpoints of moderate Muslims living in America, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in concert with six other "American" Muslim organizations have unified to stifle the First Amendment rights of Shaykh Hisham Kabbani, chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of America (ISCA), and have instigated a modern day Muslim lynch mob. |

Dr. Robert Dickson Crane writes: Revealing the Roots of Militant Extremism "From my own experience giving talks around America, including almost one hundred to Muslim student organizations during the years 1985-1986 alone, I would estimate that there is not a single mosque in America that has not suffered from take-over attempts by extremists, many or most of them funded or at least backed by the Wahhabi cult originating in Arabia." |

Published in The Muslim Magazine, January 1999 Boycott of an Eminent Muslim Scholar and Leader Despite being posted worldwide on the Internet, and published in The Muslim Observer, this condemnation simply is a misrepresentation of many organizations that the article claims signed it.The statement is merely another tactic used by some Muslims with various viewpoints to mobilize the American Muslim community against an individual they seek to discredit. They paint the appearance of their own success in order to engender popular support - an all-too-familiar tactic employed by certain Muslim leaders in America. |
