I support the shaykhs--in fact, only a few days after this news broke I heard Shaykh Hisham speak, and that deepened my understanding that his wisdom is sound and his efforts are for the good of the ummah, if Allah allows them to be successful.

Al-hamdulillah my wife and I took bayat with him that night, Allahu Akbar!

May Allah guide the misunderstanding people.
