From ASFA Guestbook
Salam Alikum - It is very sad to see all these insults against the leader/shaikh who is probably promoting this site. And where are these insults taking place? In his Guestbook. It is his guestbook--Guest and book. So, is this is how a Muslim "guest" should behave? Where are the morals taught to us by Islam regarding guests and hosts? All I can say is the Arabic saying:"Wa itha akramta al-la'eemi tamaradda". And my, what kind of "guests" have we Muslims emerged into. I hope that we can all express ourselves without insulting one another. Especially, when--I wont say unique figures, for argument's sakes--old people are involved. Is this the way our Prophet (S) taught us how treat the elders? A constructive dialog will always harvest ripe fruits, insults eliminates any productive dialog to start. We'll end up fighting one another when we all operate under the same consept: La ilaaha illa Allah! Anyway, the Guestbook usuals; That's really a nice site. It would help if you included your personal Quran recitation (Because I heard some of it on tape and I liked it), so be generous and let us all enjoy the recitation you have :-) Ahh, and maybe I should take the chance to embarrass brother Mateen and ask him to respond to my Emails!? :) Was-Salam.
