Walaykumsalaam wa Rehmatullahi wa barakatuh sister

The point of Kabbani's lecture was to warn people from people who either
are wahhabi or are influenced by their doctrine. This is not dividing
Muslims, but warning Muslims and non-Muslims against those who have
already done the dividing, and are in the process of hammering the dagger
within the heart of the Ummah even further as we communicate. You only
need to go and read Saudi history to realize what Hisham really means by
"extremism," and you will realize that the ideologies of wahhabis are
indeed being introduced to plenty of mosques in the USA and around the
world. The ideology is extreme enough since it is opposed to the aqeedah
and `ijma of the four schools of jurisprudence (whom have authentically
transmitted the Qur'an you're reading today). The ideology being turned
into "action" is not something to rule out but to consider with a sound
mind, since Muhammad ibn Abdl-Wahhab's ideologies did indeed cause him to
reform Islam by shedding the blood of countless Muslims, including old
people, women, and children. If it has happened once in the past, then the
threat does exist today if those same ideologies are being spread in
mosques today. This possibility cannot simply be rejected but considered
with an open mind.

Also, you seemed to have not read all of Hisham's lecture. You said:

"How dare you make the statement that 80% of
the mosques in the United States are promoting extremism?"

Sorry sister, you have grossly misquoted Kabbani, and you should fear
Allah for putting words in a Muslim's mouth and then criticizing and
mocking him. The correct and exact quote of Kabbani is as follows:

"Because they are very active [extremists] they took over the mosques; and
we can say that they took over more than 80% of the mosques that have been
established in the US. And there are more than 3000 mosques in the US. So
it means that the methodology or ideology of extremist has been spread to
80% of the Muslim population, but not all of them agree with it."

Sister, please read the last line of his quote and you will know the
correct meaning of the passage. He said, "So it means that the methodology
or ideology of extremist has been spread to 80% of the Muslim population,
but not all of them agree with it." How can you use this quote and say 80%
of mosques are promoting extremism? Astagfirullah sister.

To make the matter more clear sister, Kabbani further says:

"This is what I want to say to you, to present to you from within the
Muslim community. We want to tell you that the Muslim community as a whole
is innocent from whatever extremism and extremist ideology is being spread
around the world."

So now you know what he meant, that the wahhabi ideology is spreading far
and wide, but it does not necessarily mean that "80% OF MOSQUES ARE
PROMOTING EXTREMISM" as you said, but simply that most mosques have been
introduced to these ideologies -- some accept them while others don't.

I ask you to repent to Allah for your mockery of a Muslim, and I hope you
will not repeat this again, for the sake of your own fate.

Assalam-u-alaikum.
A brother.
